D. Douglas Grubbs

doug-grubbs-final D. Douglas Grubbs was born in Dallas, Texas. After graduating from Jesuit College Preparatory School in 1998, Doug attended The Ohio State University and Texas A&M University. In 2002, Doug graduated from Texas A&M with a Bachelor of Arts degree in History and a minor in Spanish. He then worked as a court clerk for the Collin County judiciary and subsequently as a litigation support assistant at Fleming & Associates, a nationally recognized mass tort law firm in Houston, Texas.

From 2005 to 2008, Doug attended South Texas College of Law in Houston. During his time at South Texas, he made the Dean’s Honor List multiple semesters while continuing to work at Fleming & Associates as a law clerk. Doug received his Juris Doctorate degree in May of 2008 and was admitted to the State Bar of Texas in November of 2008.

Doug joined the Monsour Law Firm in October of 2008, bringing with him over 5 years of extensive legal experience from multiple perspectives as a court clerk, mass tort litigation support assistant, and law clerk. Since joining the Monsour Law Firm, he has primarily focused his practice on the firm’s pharmaceutical and medical device dockets, including:

Doug’s diverse experience in pharmaceutical and medical device litigation allows him to quickly assess the merits of a potentially successful claim. He has also been involved in numerous facets of mass tort litigation including depositions, motion practice, written discovery, as well as trial and witness preparation.

Doug is a member of the State Bar of Texas, Texas Trial Lawyers Association, American Association for Justice, American Bar Association, and Jesuit Legal Society. He is also admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Texas.

Away from the office, Doug enjoys spending time with his wife and their daughter. He also enjoys fishing and waterfowl hunting.
