Texas Monthly names Doug Monsour "Super Lawyer"

Longview lawyer Doug Monsour again was named a Super Lawyer in the October issue of Texas Monthly magazine. Read more at about it here.

Monsour was named a Super Lawyer in Texas Monthly magazine in 2009 and 2010 and a Rising Star lawyer by the magazine in 2004, 2007, 2008 and 2009.

Also in October, Monsour was appointed as a member of the plaintiff steering committee to lead the Zimmer NexGen Knee litigation by federal Judge Rebecca R. Pallmeyer of Chicago in the Northern Federal District of Illinois.

This appointment requires that Monsour, along with a small group of other lawyers and law firms, prosecute the litigation against Zimmer for nationwide claims involving claims of the allegedly defective NexGen knee.

Monsour also was a featured speaker at the HB Litigation Conference for Transvaginal Mesh Litigation at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel in Amelia Island, Fla. He was a panel speaker on the subject of nationwide status of the litigation and theories of liability.
