D. Douglas Grubbs was born in Dallas, Texas on November 28, 1979. After graduating from Jesuit College Preparatory School in 1998, Doug attended The Ohio State University and Texas A&M University for his undergraduate education. In 2002, Doug graduated from Texas A&M with a Bachelor of Arts degree in History and a minor in Spanish.
Doug attended South Texas College of Law where he made the Dean’s Honor List multiple semesters. While in law school, Doug clerked at Fleming & Associates, a nationally recognized mass tort firm in Houston. In 2008, Doug received his Juris Doctorate degree from South Texas and passed the July 2008 Texas Bar Exam.
Doug joined the Monsour Law Firm in October of 2008, bringing with him over 5 years of extensive legal experience from multiple perspectives as a court clerk, litigation support assistant, and law clerk. Doug is a member of the State Bar of Texas, Texas Trial Lawyers Association, American Association for Justice, and the American Bar Association. He is also admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Texas.
Away from the office, Doug enjoys spending time with his wife, Nicole, and their families. He also enjoys fishing and waterfowl hunting.
